Happy Spring!

Kyle and I have only been engaged 4 months and it's already flying by!! I wanted to savior this time, enjoy being engaged and planning the wedding and everything that goes into it, but its going so quick already! My sister threw us a fabulous engagement party on February 28th, and I thought I'd share some photos with you all :) Enjoy!

A year later, and I'm back :) 

I apologize for seriously abandoning the blog, life just got in the way a little bit, but I wanted to come back and re-introduce sweet daydreams with one of my biggest day dreams....I'm engaged :)

I am so blessed to have an amazing man in my life. I've always dreamed and prayed about a man like him, and god answered my prayers. I am so thrilled to start this new journey in life, bittersweet to not have my mother here, but I know she is so proud and excited for us!

  On Friday I became a {doggy} momma for the third time! I rescued a sweet little angel named Gracie. The rescue thinks she's a Shihpoo, but I think she's more poodle than anything else, so she's absolutely perfect for my family! I felt Molly needed someone else, since she's always so excited to see her cousins, and so far her and Gracie are doing well together. This is my first time rescuing, and by far it is amazing. Giving Gracie a loving home is the perfect gift, and it's an honor to take her in. We love you Gracie!!

My love for plaid began in Catholic school where our daily uniform was a grey, maroon, and navy plaid skirt with a navy sweater...I really liked my uniform, and to this day still love plaid as much as I did back then. This fall & winter season I'm channeling my inner school girl past and bringing plaid back into my wardrobe.

In honor of one of my bff's getting married next year, I thought I'd dedicate today's post to a cute little outfit I'd wear to one of her get-togethers. As one of her maids, I'm loving her color combo's {mint & coral}, but now that we're getting closer into the fall season {yay} I'm pairing this fab mint green dress with rich navy hues to make it a bit more wearable for now. Love you Kimmie!!
